Care for the Elderly

The Greek Women’s Society works closely with the Ridleyton Greek Home for the Aged to support the cultural environment and social engagement.

The Women’s Centre

The Society provides a venue once weekly for senior Greek women to meet in an environment conducive to their ethics and culture and offers a broad range of activities for their-well- being, thus alleviating loneliness and isolation which, due to language difficulties, has prevented participation in the wider community programs.
Apart from the recreational activities, speakers are invited regularly to address the participants on subjects of importance and interest on issues which are pertinent.
